What Brings Us Out

Around Boot Ranch and Highland Lakes, calls for heat pump installation usually start with one of these:

You are building, adding on or converting from straight cool with strip heat
You want one system for both cooling and heating
You are replacing a failed air conditioner
Your outdoor unit is corroded beyond repair

How Nolan Air Approaches It

The old equipment is removed, refrigerant is recovered properly and everything is hauled away. Line sets are flushed or replaced, and the drain is pitched and protected with a float switch. We walk you through the thermostat and register the warranty where the manufacturer allows. The outdoor unit is set level on a proper pad and anchored where needed.

Local Notes for Palm Harbor

East of US-19, larger ranch homes on the Lake Tarpon side usually have long attic duct runs that reach well past the original design. Summer storms rolling in off the Gulf bring lightning surges that hit thermostats and control boards in north Pinellas more often than people expect. Downtown Palm Harbor along Florida Avenue has some of the oldest block homes in north Pinellas, where attics are shallow and closets are tight.

Palm Harbor runs from the bayou cottages near Crystal Beach to the deed-restricted golf communities around Lansbrook, so no two heat pump installation visits look quite the same. Seasonal residents in Palm Harbor condos often ask us to check systems before they return in the fall or after they leave in spring.

Things We Check For

HOA or building rules may affect where the outdoor unit can go. Electrical capacity in older homes can limit equipment options. Two-story Palm Harbor homes may need zoning or a second system for even comfort.

Call (727) 353-9293 to schedule an in-home estimate.

How soon can you reach Highland Lakes for heat pump installation?

Timing varies with workload and with traffic along US-19, Alt. US-19, Tampa Road and East Lake Road; we set an honest window and phone you if anything changes. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–7 PM.

What warranty comes with it?

Manufacturer warranty terms are listed in your written quote.

Do you offer more than one option?

Yes. We are happy to quote more than one efficiency level.

Anything specific about Palm Harbor homes we should mention?

West of Alt. US-19, homes near St. Joseph Sound see more salt in the air, which matters for anything with an outdoor coil or exposed metal. Older Palm Harbor subdivisions such as Baywood and Indian Bluff often have original returns that are smaller than modern equipment prefers. Let us know about any of this so nothing surprises the technician.
