Ductwork Repair in Clearwater Beach, FL

Duct problems on Clearwater Beach look different from those on the mainland: low-slung attics in older North Beach cottages, chase-mounted ducts in mid-rise condos, and raised homes on Island Estates where ducts run through hot attics or under the floor. Nolan Air finds the leaks and fixes them.

We book barrier-island appointments Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM; evening and weekend visits depend on availability. Call (727) 353-9293.

What We See on Clearwater Beach Ductwork Repair Calls

  • Crushed flex runs in shallow cottage attics
  • Sweating boots in condo soffits
  • Disconnected trunks after storm repairs
  • Undersized returns in converted rentals

Vacation Rentals and Turnover

Short-term rentals across the beach run hard with changing guests, open doors and thermostats set very low. That combination clogs filters, overworks compressors and drags humid air inside. Owners and managers appreciate written notes after each visit to keep track of the property between stays.

Sand and Wind

Sand blown off the beach collects in condenser bases and around fan blades, and in ground-floor units it finds its way into returns. A quick look at what has built up around the outdoor unit is part of every visit here.

Measure Before Recommending

We inspect every accessible run, measure static pressure and look for crushed, kinked or disconnected sections. The numbers tell us whether the problem is leakage, restriction or simple undersizing.

Lightning Season

Summer afternoons bring frequent thunderstorms across the beach. Surges knock out thermostats, control boards and capacitors, and those failures cluster after a stormy week. A surge protector at the condenser disconnect is an inexpensive layer of insurance we are happy to discuss.

Sealing That Lasts

Joints and boots are sealed with mastic or listed foil tape. Cloth duct tape dries out in a hot attic within a few summers, and many of the leaks we find trace back to it.

Condos, Towers and Rooftops

Much of the island is condominium living, from older low-rise buildings off Bay Esplanade to towers on Sand Key. Many have closet air handlers paired with rooftop or balcony condensers. We follow building rules for access, elevator use and work hours, and coordinate with management when equipment is on the roof.

Island Estates Canal Homes

Across the causeway, Island Estates is mostly single-family homes on seawalled canals. Condensers often sit near the water or next to pool equipment, where chlorine and salt double the corrosion load. We note rust on cabinet bases and coil edges so you can track it season to season.

Seasonal Owners

Many Clearwater Beach residents spend part of the year up north. A system left off or set too high in an empty condo invites musty odors and mold on the coil. Before you leave, we can check the drain, float switch and thermostat settings so the unit keeps humidity in check while you are away.

Parking and Access

Parking on the island is tight, especially near Pier 60 and along Mandalay. Letting us know about a garage code, guest spot or loading area ahead of time keeps the visit on schedule.

Where We Work in Clearwater Beach

We handle duct work in North Clearwater Beach near Acacia Street, the Mandalay Avenue corridor, Clearwater Pass and Brightwater Drive, all within ZIP 33767. Technicians usually come in on the Memorial Causeway, Mandalay Avenue, Gulfview Boulevard and the Clearwater Pass bridge to Sand Key, so the closest cross street helps us plan.

Drive Time From Our Shop

From our Palm Harbor-area shop, Clearwater Beach is usually 25 to 35 minutes away: south on Alt. US-19 or US-19, then across the Memorial Causeway. Sand Key adds a few more minutes over the Clearwater Pass bridge. In spring break season and on summer weekends, beach traffic on the causeway can stretch that, so we build extra time into the window and call when the technician is on the way.

As a veteran-owned, locally run company, Nolan Air completes all work under Florida license CAC1819932.
