The typical Largo call is a ranch that still cools the living room and loses the west bedrooms after 3 p.m., or a condenser nursed through another summer off US 19. We find the failed part first: capacitor, contactor, drain, coil, board. A change-out because the neighborhood is “that era” is not a diagnosis.
West-side equipment sits in more moisture. East-side equipment sits in heat with less shade. When replacement wins, we size for the house after the lanai got glass. Why do the back bedrooms never catch up?
Usually a smashed or leaking supply in a hot attic, one undersized return, or thin fill over that end of the house. We check those before we blame the outdoor unit. See ductwork.

No. We look down the run. If the vents are filthy, duct cleaning is on the ticket. If they are not, it is not.
