What we see in these attics
Carrollwood and older Town ’n’ Country ranches often have almost nothing left over the garage bay and thin leftovers over the living rooms. Westchase two-stories usually have some blown-in that stopped at the eaves or got walked down the path to the unit. Afternoon sun on that west pitch is why those rooms feel it first.
We measure what is there. Blown-in is how most of these attics get coverage. Batts on knee walls if the house has them. We do not quote a depth from the street. Parent method: insulation.
Garage attics off Linebaugh are the forgotten ones. The house got a little blown-in in 2004; the garage ceiling got nothing; the bonus room over it is a sauna. We will call that out. We also call out can lights with no boxes and a hatch that dumps heat into the hall. Those are cheap to ignore and expensive to feel every afternoon on the west side.
If you store bins up there, say so. We can leave a path. We will not pretend a walkway is “free insulation.”
